This is a first for Lone Star Farmstead but we have seen so many good recipes from other homesteaders that we thought we might start sharing one a week. Mrs. Lone Star does 95% of the cooking in our house (there was a time when that was reversed but because of the way chores have to be divided up due to limitations with her back she now handles almost all of the cooking) and she does a great job, but expanding the recipe index is never a bad thing so we will start off with this recipe from our friends at Common Sense Homesteading. It sounds delicious and will be a great way to sneak a little broccoli into my diet (because I’m not a huge vegetable fan. I’ve always been a “meat an’ taters” kind of guy). It sounds amazing so hopefully I can talk Mrs. Lone Star into giving it a try. Have a great day and God bless!
