So as I said yesterday, we are starting our first true garden this year. We have grown a few plants here and there in the past but this will be our first actual attempt at a true garden. We have a long list of items we are growing this year including corn, several types of beans, multiple herbs, various peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, green onions, yellow onions, strawberries, blue berries, and garlic to name a few. We have 28 types of plants in total. Some we established last year, like two of the four blueberry bushes and the strawberries. Also we grew tomatoes, peppers, and a few herbs last year so we feel fairly comfortable that they will do great this year. Some of the other stuff we chose is going to be a complete experiment. So far about half of the new stuff is sprouting strong and we are very encouraged.
