We cheated this year on our tomatoes because all of our seedlings died off. So this year we are growing our determinate beefsteak tomatoes that we bought and transplanted. We will be growing heirlooms again next year. But whether you are growing determinate or indeterminate varieties of tomatoes pruning is important to getting the most out of your crop. Melissa K Norris has some great tips on pruning, and more importantly knowing what to prune. I will be pruning our plants tomorrow, first thing. If you aren’t already familiar with tomato pruning then check it out. Have a great day and God bless!
